Transaction work is led from Shanghai. We keep an office in Los Angeles, where both partners work each quarter. Implementation is delivered with local advisers in each market.
If you are an investment banker, lawyer, accountant or customs adviser working with Chinese clients, our partner proposition is set out here.
Logistics and logistics technology in China is leaving its financing cycle. The capital that funded a decade of growth companies is looking for exits, and the companies that raised it are looking at each other.
Over the coming decade we expect this sector to consolidate — more mergers, more integration, and a different scale of company at the end of it.
We have acted as exclusive financial adviser to companies in this sector since 2019. We know the companies, their shareholders and their numbers — which is what origination in a consolidating market actually requires.

Two practices
Consolidation is where most advisers stop — at completion. What follows is where the value is made or lost, and it is organizational before it is financial. We do both.

What we do
Team
Managing Partner
Seth founded Lakeside Capital in 2017.
Over close to twenty years in investment banking, he has advised on financing and M&A transactions with an aggregate value in excess of US$2 billion. Previously, he built up the cross-border M&A team at Sinolink Securities as Executive Director and worked in PwC Corporate Finance as Senior Manager.

Seth is a CPA and a member of the ACCA.
Partner
Teresa leads Lakeside’s advisory practice, covering market entry, organization and talent.
Her experience over close to twenty years combines finance and human resources — PwC, then the global leadership advisory firm Russell Reynolds Associates as a consultant, then NetEase as HR Director. She advises on organization and talent with the capital and industry context in view, not separately from it.
Chinese companies are a growing client segment that most firms outside China have no route to. We are that route.
We act for Chinese acquirers in logistics and logistics technology, and for owners selling into that consolidation.
Our clients are logistics and supply chain companies acquiring, establishing and operating outside China.
